If you are a fashionista mom or even an ordinary working mom, you, of course would like to see your kids on their best outfit always. As a mother, praises from other people about your kids' dress and outfits will definitely uplift your spirits and put smile on your faces. But you don't need to buy branded clothes and shoes to make them look good.
In this times of difficulty and economic crisis, only the gifted few can really buy those branded clothings and shoes for your kids. There are clothe and dresses that are affordably beautiful and are made with quality. You do not really need to go to Divisoria to be able to buy affordable clothes for your family. In divisoria, definitely you can avail goods for a much lower prices but somehow, the quality of the good is at stake. I am saying this from my previous experience. I bought my daughter a closed purple flat shoes which my daughte really loves for P150.00. Excitedly, she wears it to try it out and a few minutes after trying it on, the design ribbon/bow got loose. So what I did having paid the goods already, I asked for a replacement of a different type of shoes. Pink Hello Kitty sandals (open shoes) is what we choose for replacement. Two days after, the design hello kitty face got loose again. This time I glue it with mighty bond. So you see, buying stuff in divisoria does not necessarily means that you are saving money. It depends on the quality so better really check the goods before buying them.
So now, if you are thinking of going to divisoria, think again. Your trip might not be as worthy as having a trip to the mall because you can buy most of the stuff in the department stores without the hassle.
Where can you buy quality and yet affordable clothes for your kids? Here are my list of suggstions. First in the list is The Landmark department store, there is one in makati and one in trinoma. Landmark offers a lot of bargain or sale items. They have pajamas, short and sandos that are good in quality and yet affordable. All of the items are branded although not all of them are known brands or the first class brands. Brands includes disney baby, bebe soen, barbie, baby toons and a lot more. You have the option if you wan to buy individually or the ones they offer in pack of two's or three's. Comparing the price of the goods in divisoria and landmark, prices of items in landmark can absolutely compete with that of in divisoria. You will be surprise to know that you will spend almost the same amount of money in landmark and divisoria with less the effort, perspiration adn haggling with people and prices. An example of this is when I bought my daughter, again from my trip to divisoria (first trip again after 3 years) underwears with cinderella/snow white/ariel design which I bought for 3 for 100. I hardly knew that when I visit landmark a week ago, they have the same kind of underwears for 99.75 and they have other designs to choose from. And the pajama pants with strawberry shortcake design I bought for 80 pesos well infact, you can buy pajama pants (sets of 2) in landmark for 119.75-149.75 depending on the size. They have areas there near the escalator wherein you can find good deal finds. They also have plenty of shelves there arranged by the brands from newbron to infants to toddlers.
Another promising store to go to is the Robinsons department store. One thing I love about this store is that they have same design t-shirts available for mother and daughter or father and son. The brand is 'Whatever' and they have a lot of designs to choose from although not all of the designs are available for both mother and daughter. Prices range from 139-200 depending on the design. Same thing with shoes, Landmark and Robinsons have ample ofshoes to choose from from not so much known brand to the famous brands. But if you want same design shoes like me, I suggest you get yours at Confetti shoe store. They have ample of designs to choose from. They have branches in Glorrieta 5, Megamall, Robinsons Galleria, they have also in landmark but not all the styles and designs are available.
